  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth

Spices & Seasonings:

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the meat: In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Sauté aromatics: Add chopped onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  • Add liquids and beans: Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, beans, and corn.
  • Season: Mix in taco seasoning, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
