- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth
Spices & Seasonings:
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the meat: In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Sauté aromatics: Add chopped onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Add liquids and beans: Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, beans, and corn.
- Season: Mix in taco seasoning, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with cheese, sour cream, avocado, and tortilla chips.
